We prepare Christian inmates to become leaders of their families, communities, and churches once they are released back into the community. We support inmates’ families, helping them become reconciled to God and one another through transformative relationships with other believers.

Home Cell Groups - A Home Cell Group (HCG) is a small group of people that meets weekly in someone’s home. At CIC Coachella Valley, the vision of HCG is modeled after biblical patterns of small groups found in Acts 2:42-47. The early followers of our Lord Jesus Christ understood the need to gather as a church in small groups for support, encouragement, and training for ministry. These small groups meetings in homes, offered a place to form genuine relationships, and they provided easy entry places for new believers. They also provided a non-threatening, comfortable place for those who were seeking to know more about Jesus Christ. The CIC Coachella Valley ministry teaches and raises members to become HCG leaders in their homes or neighborhoods. HCGs are the main vehicles to build relationships at CIC. This ministry has become exceptionally important for church growth and ministering to neighbors who will otherwise not have the opportunity to hear the gospel
